Fridays with Floyd: Park

We often take Floyd to the dog park near our house so he can:
-socialize with other dogs
-exercise
-run off some energy
-have a change of scenery

Floyd does 0 of those things when we are at the park.
Instead he:
 Sits 

Drools

 Wanders by himself

Drools

Ignores the other dogs

Judges the other dogs

Yawns (with drool)

And all of that wild and crazy activity at the park inevitably leads to this:

Going to the park is exhausting.

    HAHAHA this is a very familar story to me. Fred drooled and yawned all over dog parks in Brooklyn and Seattle. If he was feeling peppy, occasionally he'd halfheartedly try to hump the closest lady dog.

    Shelby does the same thing! She just sits in the corner and stares at the other dogs!

    hahaha I think I love Floyd, and I've never even met him. To the contrary, Pierre is WIDE OPEN at the dog park...for about 10 minutes. And that's all he can take. He then proceeds to flop down and pant like he's dying all the way home.

    LOL Rocky is totally like this. He will socialize for a bit then expect other dogs to follow him around. He is so judgemental too!

    oh my gosh, it's been a hard day today with kids a little extra hyper over here.
    and then i read this post.
    and laughed so hard i almost had a bladder malfunction.
    hilarious!! in my next life i want to be Floyd! sounds like he's got it GOOD! lol :)
