We were home again this weekend, with 0 plans and I was in heaven.
I am really, really loving summer at the moment.
Friday after work came in with a bang and an awesome package on my door step.
Luna bars for DAYS! (review coming soon!)
I immediately snarfed one of those down and went out for a run.
Friday night we watched a movie and snuggled the pups.
We were watching my mom's dog Sophie and her and Floyd both decided they needed to be on Mister's lap.
Saturday Floyd helped me with a DIY project (reveal coming soon!) out in the garage.
He's supppper helpful.

And by helpful I mean, laid on the floor in the garage and watched me.
Saturday was also the big hair day!
I really loved my new hair girl and the way it turned out!

Saturday night Mister and I had a date night!
We hadn't hadn't had an official 'let's get dressed up and go to dinner' date in a few weeks.
I was so excited to do just that and have a fun summer night out with Mister.
We tried a new (to us) place in Hyde Park called 'M'.
It blew us away.
Mac and cheese with braised ribs and truffle, truffle fries, bacon and fig pizza, burger with black garlic aioli...to name a few things we tried.
Floyd and I also hit up our respective pools over the weekend.
Well I did. Floyd never willingly got in his but he did use it as a big water bowl.
And that's a wrap on another summer weekend.

D) Walter despises water and does the whole "I'm dying of a heat stroke" thing but won't get in. I wish he'd learn! Clearly he's not the only confused hound dog!
