Woodford Reserve

It is no secret that the Mister and I love our bourbon.
Like, really love it.

But we had yet to go to any of the stops on the Bourbon Trail.
(Major fail on our part)

A few weeks ago we were traveling to Eastern Kentucky for a wedding and decided to solve that problem!

Woodford Reserve here we come!
The Woodford Reserve property is absolutely beautiful!
The tour around the property was about 30 minutes.
It was incredibly informative, in depth and, of course, smelled delicious!
And the best part; there was a tasting at the end!
(Complete with a bourbon ball chocolate)
(double score)

The Mister really enjoyed his tasting to the fullest...
These are some goodies we picked up in the gift shop!
I am dying to make sugar cookies or a coffee cake with the bourbon infused vanilla.

Have you ever done the bourbon trail?
I think next on our list is Maker's Mark!

  1. That looks so fun!! I don't even like bourbon lol, but I'd still want to visit! How long did it take you from Cincinnati area to get there? Looks like a good time :)
