Total Basset Case: Bullseye

Bullseye

Anyone close to me knows that I LOVE Target. I'm talking an obsessed type of love.  So much, in fact, I would say that I am there every 48 to 72 hours, even if it is just to look around.  The whole store makes me happy and lifts my mood.  I even wrote a paper in college about my love for Target.  I also LOVE coupons and saving money.  Whenever there rises an opportunity to coupon at Target, my heart goes pitter patter.

I typically venture to Target at least every Friday on my day off to pick up any essentials we may be out of, low on or that I have a coupon for.

One (of the many) reasons I love Target is because you can print Target coupons off their site and use them in conjunction with manufacturer coupons = double savings!!! Check out the Target coupon site here. Some of the coupons on their site are manufacturer coupons and not Target coupons.  My only qualm with this system is that you do not know if the coupon you select is a store or manufacturer until you print it out.  Other than that, being able to use these two types of coupons together can really create some great deals.

Last Friday I ventured to Target (per usual) to stock up on a few items in preparation for our guests coming.  It was an extremely successful trip! I purchased everything you see below for $23.03 oop (out of pocket).  The total price before coupons was $41.12.  Sans the water and nail polish remover, I had a coupon for every item I bought.

One of the best deals I was able to conduct was the Tositos deal.  I had heard a lot about this deal in blogland and I was very happy to be able to score it myself.  The deal consisted of 2 bags of Tositos: Artisan Recipe (p.s. these are REALLY good), 1 jar of salsa, and 1 Pepsi 2 liter for $4.50! The other great deal I scored was with the Biore products.  I had a coupon for buy Biore pore strips, get a face cleanser free.  I was planning on doing this deal anyway but the deal became even sweeter when I went to pick up the products from the shelf.  The cleanser I chose had a $3 off coupon hanging on the bottle! So in the end, I got Biore pore strips ($5.99) and the face cleanser ($5.99) for $2.99!!

Have you scored any great deals lately?
