We had some friends over the other night and instead of cooking a big dinner (i.e. not wanting to turn the oven on for too long) I made a bunch of yummy, easy and quick appetizers.
And, as always, as soon as I know people are coming over I start planning the menu.
After much deliberation I settled on the following:
Sausage and Cheese Wontons (always a winner)
Corn Beef Bagel Dip (one of The Mister's favorites: his mom's recipe...typed out below)
Beer Cheese Dip (from a package in a gift basket we received)
Corn Beef Bagel Dip
16oz Hellman's Mayo (I use light)
16oz Sour Cream (I use light)
2 tsp. Accent
2 tsp. Dill Weed
4 Green Onions, chopped
3/4lbs Corn Beef (from deli), chopped
Mix all together and serve with soft bagels torn into pieces

Those buffalo chicken biscuits and sausage & cheese wontons look delicious! I am having some friends over tomorrow night and I might have to steal those recipes! Thanks for sharing, and for your comment on my weekly menu :-) Your dog is so cute! Aren't they the best? We have a labradoodle!
