This past weekend was one for the record books.
It did not involve a lot of sleeping but it was fantastic.
Let's back up to Friday though.
My alarm went off at 3am and after some eye rubbing, I was off to the airport.
You know how 6am flights always sound like such a good idea? They really aren't.
Finally after a million hours of travel and 3 spent in the Atlanta airport, I arrived in Dallas, hopped in the car and headed to Austin.
Austin has been on the books for months now to celebrate my bestie's bachelorette party. We have SO been looking forward to the weekend and it was so great.
The house we rented was ridiculous and we felt like rockstars all weekend.
Friday night was full of girl talk, wine, dinner and showering her with gifts.
Saturday was the ultimate lounge day. We hung out all day and had more girl talk than you can imagine.
That afternoon Priv came to the house to make us beautiful. Priv is a mobile beauty service that comes to your house full of services like mani/pedis, blowouts, spray tans, braided styles and more! GENIUS concept.
I opted for a braided style and decided I want them to come to my house every day.
After more primping and a session with the photographer, we loaded on the party bus.
That evening we hit the town of Austin for dinner at Ranch 616 (delicious) and out for drinks and dancing our faces off. So. Much. Dancing. If you want to see some girls have the best time ever, give them some champs, a party bus and a playlist full of Justin Bieber.
The fun finally came to a close around 1:30 when I hit the sack and set my alarm for 4 to jump in a cab for the airport. Yes, another 6am flight because I like to torture myself.
Needless to say, after lots of travel, Sunday was full of sleeping and resting. But not before admiring our beautiful yard that Mister had spent the weekend re-mulching and buying me flowers. He is the best. He even went to the grocery for me AND made dinner.
