Total Basset Case: Lately : Spring Time

Lately : Spring Time

We are in the midst of pre summer craziness and life has been non.stop.

So the best way to recap that is via a lately post, am I right?!

Reminiscing : Mister surprised me for 'fur'mama's day with tickets to Cirque Du Soleil.  It was INCREDIBLE!  We had fantastic seats and we had never been to a show like that before.  I am still thinking about how awesome it was.  And how it makes me want to go to the gym and work on my muscles.
Watching : This commercial, mainly because it contains 2 of our favorite things.

Reading : I just finished up Grace Grows and The Last Anniversary.  Both were pretty good...not show stoppers but entertaining.  I haven't found a Liane Morarity book I don't like but I will say this was probably my least favorite.  Still good but it was no Husbands Secret.
I just picked up Career of Evil for the car but I need a recommendation for my Kindle if anyone has any good ones!

Planting : ALL of the things.  I mentioned that Mister and I had started in the yard and we have taken that up about 16 notches.  We have made it a habit to go to the nursery every weekend and always come home with a trunk full of goodies.  We love experimenting with different versions of plants and flowers and see how they do each year.

Snuggin : On this sweet face

Planning : We are hosting a belated Mother's Day lunch at our house this weekend and I have been busy planning the menu.  I'll share it with you next week but know it's a good one.

What's going on lately with you?

I've seen one Cirque show- the Michael Jackson one a few years ago and it was SO AWESOME! I can't imagine how great this one was! :) Looking forward to hearing your menu for the brunch- you always have the best foods/recipes.
