Total Basset Case: Weekend Wrap Up: Eat and Sleep

Weekend Wrap Up: Eat and Sleep

We finally had a weekend at home and
it.was.glorious.
We had just about 0 plans and couldn't have been happier.
What we did do was eat.
And sleep.
We slept in both mornings.
I can't tell you the last time that happened.

Friday night we ended up meeting Pepper (Floyd's gf) and her parents at Lucky Dog.
Lucky Dog is an awesome restaurant close to our house
that encourages you to bring you dog.
They even have a doggie menu!
Saturday I met Liz and Lauren at Wildfire for lunch.
Their burger won Best Burger in Cincinnati a few years back
so, of course, I had to try it.
 Verdict: Delish!!
The bun was a Blue Oven Bakery (local bakery) english muffin.
The bun/muffin was probably the only downfall for me.
It was very good, but just a little thick for my liking.
The meat and toppings, however, were fantastic!

Saturday night Mister and I had a date night at Ferraris.
Again, deliciousness all around.
We had toasted ravioli for an appetizer
and I had the carbonara and Mister had the lasagna.
 Yum. yum. yum.

Sunday was spent being la-zy.
I made some freezer breakfast burritos and frosty paws for Floyd
and worked on some DIY projects.
You will have to wait to see those until after
my mama's birthday next week :)

I had forgotten what it is like to be home all day on
Saturday and Sunday.
 How was your weekend?

P.S. our meal plan for the week is here

I have been wanting to try the frosty paws for sherman ... I was too lazy this weekend. But definitely soon.
And I love that Floyd has a gf. That little stud.

How cute! I wish we had a restaurant around here that we could take Shelby to! How did Mr. Floyd like the Frosty Paws?

Okay want to know a cool little fact? My grandma grew up in the house that is now the Wildflower Cafe! I've heard their burgers were amazing, but have yet to try them there!! Glad you had a nice weekend at home girl.

So glad you had a nice weekend to relax and catch-up on sleep! That doggy menu is SO cute, and I know two pups who will be very jealous when I tell them about it.

Sarah, you are SO pretty! That picture of you on your date night is gorgeous!

Have a great week girl!

I love that Floyd has a gf, too cute! How did he like the Frosty Paws? I have been wanting to try these for our beagle Ben but have been too much of a chicken. Love the dress for date night, I have been on the hunt for a seersucker dress but have not been able to find one I like. Do you mind me asking where you bought it?

I'm honestly jealous of your low key weekend at home. It looks like you were able to sneak in a little fun too - which is always nice. After my weekend, I'm in the same boat as floyd. Nap time needed!!!

There is a restaurant with a doggie menu almost identical to that here! But the restaurant is French - I have entirely too much fun with that little detail with a dog named Pierre, of all things. I want to relive your dining experiences this weekend, thankyouverymuch. AND, lazy Sundays are the best - let me know how Floyd likes his FrostyPaws :) I want to try those Freezer Breakfast Burritos this weekend!

The perfect kind of weekend! (I find most of my weekend wrap up posts somehow end up being all about food...) We already know Ferrari's, of course, but now I want to try the other two places. Maybe a doggie date!
