Total Basset Case: Weekend Wrap Up: Short and Sweet

Weekend Wrap Up: Short and Sweet

Good Monday to you friends!
(I'm trying to be optimistic that it'll be a great day even though it's a Monday.)

We were home again this weekend and definitely didn't stray too far from our sofa.
And we (and especially Floyd) were totally okay with it.

My weekend started off really great when I got an early birthday present in the mail from Kait!  Such an adorable necklace and I am pumped to add it to my collection.

Friday night we grabbed some Thai food after work and ended the evening on the sofa.

Saturday we worked out and then the Mister and I headed our separate ways to conquer some Christmas shopping.
We were both exhausted after fighting the crowds, so again, the evening ended on the sofa.
We turned on the Christmas tree, snuggled up and watched The Holiday (my favorite Christmas movie).

I did squeeze in one small craft project and I'll show that to you guys later this week.

Sunday morning we headed out to the Original Pancake House and had some breakfast.
I indulged (and I mean, really indulged) in the Peppermint Pancakes with White Vanilla Chips.

#yum.
They were so good and so rich but mostly just delicious.
The rest of the day was spent running errands and getting ready for our week.

And that is our low key and relaxing weekend in a nutshell.
How was yours?

And I want to say a special happy (dating) anniversary to the Mister.
Today marks 13 (!) years since we started dating ;)

Linking up with Sami Dana and Leeann.
