Product Love: Primpin

I'm back today with another round of my newest favorite products.
I love reading product reviews on other blogs and hope you guys enjoy mine as well!
On tap today I have some of my recent primping loves and necessities!
Primpin1.  Drip Knots: 'Because getting clean shouldn't be dirty.' Hallelujah! I have a confession...I often skip washing my face at night (if I haven't showered) because I hate getting all wet.  I always end up with water all over my hair and down my arm and sleeves.  Drip Knots to the rescue! My MIL gave me these for Christmas and I have been in love ever since.  My hair and sleeves are ever thankful to her!  It may look a little ridiculous on but I'm telling you they work and definitely worth it!

2. Velvet Huggable Hangers: These are a MUST buy.  I picked up a big pack of these at Costco awhile back and have slowly been switching out all the hangers in my closet.  But I have a secret for you...get them at the dollar store, TJ Maxx or Marshalls, much cheaper at those places!  These are perfect for silky blouses and especially tank tops.  Nothing falls off of them because the velvet keeps them snuggly in place.  And they are thinner than normal hangers so you can fit more in your closet.  Win and win.

3. ELF Moisturizer: This was a random ELF purchase but I love it just the same as I do all my others.  It is great for a quick swipe of moisturizer in the morning or before bed.  I don't always love the lotion type moisturizers because I feel like they always get everywhere or I squeeze too much out, so this is definitely a good compromise.  However, speaking of, my regular moisturizer is running out...any tips on a good one I should pick up? (I am also in the market for new bronzer, without sparkles, any favorites?)

4.  Curling Wand: I think I mentioned that Mister got me this wand for Valentine's Day and I am officially in love! It does take some getting used to and playing with to get the hang of but I figured it out pretty quickly.  Also the curls seem to stay for long than they do with a normal iron.  I was able to rock my wand waves for 2 days straight last week.  And I know better than to fry my hair off...I think we've all seen that video by now.

5.  Makeup Organizer: I picked up this vanity organizer at Target the other day after I was tired of digging through my makeup bag to find what I needed.  The one I have has 4 compartments and fits all of my daily makeup perfectly! I love that I know where everything is and it keeps my makeup clean and tidy!

What have you been loving lately?
Any products (or moisturizers and/or bronzers) I should know about?

Loving those drip knots. I have that problem also, so I should look into those. I am loving Mary Kay's Timewise Age-Fighting Moisturizer. I love that when I put it on at night (if I remember), I wake up and my face feels so smooth. I wear it for day also. Also I am obsessed with those cleansing makeup wipes. I am so lazy washing my face at night also, and these take like 1 min to just wipe off all of your makeup and then go to bed. They are perfect for travel, but I started using them every night.

I'm obsessed with the ELF lip gloss from Target. So cheap and so purdy. I actually like how it looks after it's slightly worn off.... so like an hour after I put it on! Love the Floyd pictures below. He's so adorable!

I am going to have to try this ELF stuff out - I have a target trip planned for tonight! My list keeps growing!

On another note - my friend and I have created a "Friday's Fab 5" link up for Fridays to talk about 5 of our favorite things...you should check it out and link up since you do these posts pretty often :)

I love my curling wand too! But it took plenty of burned fingers to get the hang of it. Great picks!

I really want to try a curling wand. I'll have to pick one up when I'm "allowed" to step foot in Target/spend money on on-essential things!!

YOU DO NOT WASH YOUR FACE AT NIGHT!? What's next?! Are you going to tell me you don't floss your teeth either?!

I love NYC's "sunny" bronzer! It's only $3 and is completely matte/sparkle free! I also like benefit's "hoola" bronzer. But it's more pricey.

I don't wash my face every night either. I think these "rules" society has for us ladies are lame. I think you should listen to your body. Mine often tells me you are too tired...go to bed. your face isn't that dirty.

I got a curling wand back in the fall and I have been in love with it ever since! I get such great waves that I just can't get with a curling iron!

DRIP KNOTs???? GENIUS! I dread night time simply because I hate getting wet before I get in bed.

Although I have been converted to Elf's mineral makeup indefinitely (I swear it's the same as Bare Minerals, for what? 1/18th of the cost?), I do still use Bare Minerals Warmth as a bronzer. And for the sole reason that it is NOT sparkly or shiny. They have two colors, Faux Tan and Warmth. I like Faux Tan better because I think it looks better on my fair skin. They're about $20, but you use SO LITTLE of it each day that it doesn't matter. One container easily lasts me 6 to 9 months.

I so want to try a curling wand, but then I remember that no matter what tool, it's not going to make much of a difference in light of my absolute hopeless hair skills... maybe I need you to come over and teach me! I so love nice waves.

My current thing: BB cream from Garnier (purchased at Target, obviuosly, after reading this: http://www.dailymakeover.com/trends/makeup/bb-cream/). Perfect foundation/moisturizer all in one and one of the first products that actually makes me look as nice as it claims it will :)

I LOVE those velvet hangers!!! At Christmas I bought two boxes from Costco because they were on sale and switched them out with all my other hangers. I have never seen them in hot pink though! (Mine are black!)

The only problem is sometimes Steven breaks them, lol. He yanks down on his shirts instead of peeling them off the hanger and the velvet snaps away from the metal. Silly boys...

My favorite moisturizers lately have been Alba Botanica's "even advanced" day and night creams! The day is light and the night one is nice and thick, and my skin has improved SO much since I started using them. I get them at Target for ~$15 apiece and the jars last for a long time!

For all of my makeup, I'm a Bare Minerals girl through and through, so I highly recommend their "Skinny Dip" bronzer. :)

I am guilty of the same thing (not washing my face at night because I hate getting water all over) oops. I need those Drip knots! Looking into that now!!

Okay, maybe I have been staring at tax returns too long, but your #1 in the diagram doesn't match your #1 on the explanations...I was sitting here for five minutes straight thinking "these white and zebra things are the weirdest hangers I have ever seen....I wonder how she actually hangs stuff up because there is no hook."

Then it dawned on me that the actual hangers you are referring to are a mere .00000026 milometers away from the Drip Knots in which I had mistaken for amazing hangers.

It has been a long day :)

PS: I really need those drip knots!

This cracks me up....I also make a total mess of the skin when I wash my face. Seriously, what in the world happens?! I think those drip knots are such a great idea. I also love product reviews and planned a hair one tomorrow..twinsy's!

The wand is magical isn't it??? I can't believe it took me so long to get one. And that video of that poor girl....I would have seriously had heart failure if that happened to me!!

I need some of those hangers to get more space out of my closet! And I've been wanting to try a curling wand since curls from a regular curling iron never hold in my hair!
