Total Basset Case: Sweat Training

Sweat Training

With the new year always comes the fitness resolutions.  I am ALL for these.  I think you know by now I am a big fan of working out, healthy eating and all around well being.

In our house, fitness is more of a resolution, it is a lifestyle.  Whether this be a sweaty intense workout, a good stretch session or a walk around the neighborhood with Floyd, we like to make sure we are moving.

This generally equates to us working out about 5-7 days a week in some form.  I am a big proponent of a rest day and/or a stretch day within those days as well.  I think these are vital for overall well being and to keep your fitness journey on track.  Balance is key when it comes to fitness.  There are days when I just do not make it to the gym or even work out at home and that's okay.  I used to beat myself up about missing a day.  I do my best not to do that anymore.  There are days it just does NOT happen because life happens.  And that's okay.  One day of not working out is not going to ruin you, much like splurging on pizza once in a blue moon isn't going to 100% derail you.

To keep my fitness journey exciting I love to try out new things.  I was recently given the opportunity to try out a bootcamp style class at Sweat Training located here in Cincinnati.
I love a bootcamp style class because it's quick, effective and keeps my heart pumping!  This class was no different.  It was 30 minutes long and it felt like it was approximately 2.  That's how fast it went.  If I can get a work out done in a blink of an eye I am one happy camper.

So if my local girls are looking for an effective, fun class around town to keep your resolutions on track, I highly suggest trying out Sweat Training!  Conveniently they offer early morning and evening classes.  You can check out the bootcamp classes here!

I am all for bootcamp classes! My gym does a class called cardiomma. It's a mix between a bootcamp style class and using a heavy bag for some fighting drills. It lasts 30 minutes and goes by SO quickly! LOVE a fast workout!!
