You guys may have noticed that I am sorta, slightly, kinda really obsessed with the Pioneer Woman.
WELL, she ventured back to Cincy and I was so excited to go see her again.
Bethany and I have been counting down to this day for awhile now.
She's on tour promoting her new holiday cookbook.
(P.s it's full of all sorts of deliciousness, I'd pick one up if I were you. They would make great holiday gifts too!)

She even brought her daughters this time. They are as tall, gorgeous and sweet in person as they are on the show.
And because I'm 46 shades of crazy, I wanted to make and take her something that would maybe help her remember me.
So on top of wearing my basset shirt, I made Charlie and Walter (monogram) dog treats.
And gave her a basset cookie cutter like mine.

See? Crazy.
Unlike last time, Bethany and I were much closer up in line and got in and out in a reasonable time.
And even got to see Allison!
But, just like last time, Ree was so, so sweet and engaging. She makes you feel as if you are the only one in the room when you speak with her.
I told her about the treats and cookie cutter and we talked about Floyd.
And his rascalling ways and I showed her the video of me reading the Charlie book to him.
She commented on how much she loved my basset hound shirt and said something to the tune of 'from one basset hound mama to another'. Swoon, I died.
Seriously, I think we would be best friends if we could go grab a glass of wine together.
Come back soon, Ree!
We have a basset hound that is happy to share his frito paws with you!
